What I can help with

People come to counselling with many different experiences. The list below gives a clearer sense of some of the areas I have supported people through.

Anxiety and stress

Support with overwhelm, pressure, worry, panic, or life feeling hard to hold.

Low mood and depression

A place to talk about sadness, emptiness, hopelessness, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

Bereavement and loss

Support with grief, change, endings, pet bereavement, and adjusting when life no longer feels the same.

Trauma and abuse

Including sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional harm and other experiences that continue to affect daily life.

Self-esteem and identity

Space to explore shame, confidence, self-worth, neurodiverse experiences and the impact of difficult patterns.

Other difficult experiences

This can include self-harm, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, relationship strain and other issues that feel hard to carry alone.
